Each Band Student collects
10 pledges of $10.00 each
for $100 in support
Donations will go towards the general band fund account to help pay for scholarships, guest artists, clinicians and other vital and important aspects of the band program.

Ideas for band students collecting donations:
#1. Ask your neighbors, parents' friends, friends' parents and family to support you for $10 in the Play-a-thon and tell them that their donation

will be used for general band fund account to help pay for scholarships, guest artists, clinicians and other vital and important aspects of the band program

will be tax deductible
-
will help earn you a day off of band rehearsal!!!

if your sponsor pledges a flat amount, collect it at the same time
#2. If possible ask in person,
-
wear your band shirt to identify yourself as part of the band, take along
-
the pledge sheet,
-
a clip board or something hard to write on
-
two pens, and
-
an envelope to keep the cash in

#3 Send letters to out-of-town friends & family (grandparents, aunts & uncles, cousins) - some ideas for letter are attached, feel free to customize your letters:

#4. Turn in your donations to Mr. Hairel before the 19th of September to enjoy a day off of band rehearsal!
