Percussion Call Time: 4:00 pm
Band & Colorguard: 4:30 pm

Students will not be allowed to leave stadium for food.

 

Parents! Show Shirts are ready for Pickup on Thursday after rehearsal. Please bring your $15 check or cash.

Discount on Band Fees if paid by Sept 5

To qualify for a discount on this year's band fees of $200, payment must be received by Sept 5.  The discounted fees amount is $175, so pay early and SAVE.

 

Marching Band Practice Times

Band rehearsal will normally be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00 pm.  When the Football team has a Thursday night game, there will be a practice on Friday 3:30 - 6:00 pm.

Rehearsal Tips

§                       Drink plenty of water before, during, and after rehearsal.  Bring your own jug.

§                       Wear cool, light colored clothing.  Wear a hat and sunglasses.

§                       Athletic footwear is required (no sandals, flip-flops, vans, etc)

§                       Eat a healthy breakfast, but avoid too much dairy.

§                       Wear sunscreen!

§                       Be prepared, Be on time, Have a great attitude!

§                       Don't forget to bring your necessary paperwork and fees!

New T-Shirt

 

We have the design of this year's band T-shirt.  If any Parent, friend or family member would like one, please e-mail Ms Caviness (cavinessa@cfbisd.edu) with your name, quantity and size.  The cost is $15 each shirt.

 

Photographs Taken - August 13th, 2010

Band photos were taken on Friday. We are doing a composite board to hang in the band hall. Students will take individual photos. Parents, you should be receiving a flyer (click for link) in the mail with a sample of your child’s photo. You will have the opportunity to purchase the photo in different packages.
